Trama:Molti secoli or sono, vennero creati 7 gioielli, i Miraculous, che donavano incredibili poteri; per anni degli eroi si servirono di questi per combattere il male per il bene dell’umanità. Dei 7 gioielli 2 erano i più importanti: gli orecchini della Coccinella (che trasmettevano il potere della creazione e rappresentavano la fortuna) e l’anello del Gatto Nero (che trasmetteva il potere della distruzione e rappresentava la sfortuna). La leggenda narra che chi fosse riuscito a possedere questi due gioielli avrebbe ottenuto il Potere Assoluto. Un giorno, il tempio dove erano custoditi i Miraculous fu abbattuto da un incendio ma fortunatamente uno dei guardiani, il Maestro Fu, riuscì a scappare e a salvare i sette gioielli e un libro sacro che conteneva informazioni inestimabili sui loro poteri. Purtroppo, durante il viaggio, il maestro perse due dei Miraculous ed il libro. Molto tempo dopo un uomo trovò la spilla della Farfalla, il fermaglio del Pavone ed il libro, e conosciuto il potere dei gioielli utilizzò la spilla per diventare il criminale Papillon: questo da quel momento si sarebbe servito dei sentimenti negativi delle persone per tramutarli in super-cattivi, questo allo scopo di ottenere i Miraculous della Coccinella e del Gatto Nero e così il Potere Assoluto.
