Trama:In un mondo medievale popolato da mostri e creature magiche, Orphen è un giovane combattente dagli straordinari poteri magici. All’età di quattro anni Orphen, che allora si chiamava Kyriranshelo, venne inviato alla scuola di magia della Torre della Zanna sotto la guida del Gran Maestro Childman; con lui c’era Azalin, una bambina di nove anni anche lei orfana, che Orphen cominciò a considerare nel tempo come una sorella maggiore, che ammirava e rispettava quanto il suo maestro. Negli anni Orphen aumentò considerevolmente le sue abilità di stregone, questo fino al giorno in cui lui e Azalin rinvennero casualmente la Spada di Burthunders, un antico manufatto dei tempi del mito dagli incredibili poteri. Il desiderio morboso di scoprire i segreti della spada e di realizzarsi come una vera strega spinse Azalin a tentare un pericoloso incantesimo che però andò storto, tramutandola in un mostruoso e pericoloso drago di nome Bloody August.
