Trama:A Slugterra, un mondo simile al nostro, situato oltre 100 miglia sotto la superficie terrestre, Will Shane scompare in un duello con il dottor Blakk, ma un attimo prima spedisce una lettera tramite il suo Slug al figlio, Eli Shane. Quando Eli compie 15 anni si reca a Slugterra a caccia di Slug per diventare uno Slinger come il padre. Qui fa amicizia con altri tre Slinger: Pronto il Magnifico, un talpoide pauroso e sbadato che gli farà da guida, Trixie, un’umana intelligente ed esperta che gli darà sempre supporto e Kord Zane, un troll delle caverne esperto nella fabbricazione e manutenzione di macchine. Con loro forma la Banda Shane e si propone di riportare la pace e la giustizia a Slugterra, combattendo contro il dottor Thaddius Blakk e i suoi sgherri, per fermare il loro piano di contaminazione e diffusione dei Ghouls, capaci di distruggere Slugterra.
