Trama:Nel 1999 Tokyo è infestata da fantasmi e spiriti che terrorizzano gli uffici nei grattacieli o abitano case abbandonate. Per combatterli sono nati gli acchiappafantasmi, uomini con capacità soprannaturali che li sconfiggono a pagamento. Tra questi c’è la giovane Reiko Mikami, affascinante e avida di denaro, con i suoi due aiutanti, l’adolescente Tadao Yokoshima, spontaneo e immaturo, e la ragazza fantasma Okinu.
